Metro North Rotary is excited to announce that we have a new home for our weekly meetings!
Beginning with our July 23rd meeting, our club will meet at the Hiawatha Community Center, located at 101 Emmons Street, Hiawatha, IA 52233. Following the closing of Biaggi's at the end of June, the club carefully evaluated several potential locations before selecting a space that best supports our members, guests and the future of Metro North Rotary.
The Hiawatha Community Center is conveniently accessible off Interstate 380 and is easily reached from Collins Road and Blairs Ferry Road. The facility also features plenty of free parking and room to accommodate both our current membership and future growth. This move represents a return to Metro North Rotary's roots and strengthens the club's connection to the North Cedar Rapids and Hiawatha communities while providing new opportunities to engage local businesses, community leaders and prospective members.
As part of the transition, Metro North Rotary is partnering with local catering providers to offer lunch during weekly meetings, continuing the welcoming atmosphere members and guests have come to expect. While the closing of Biaggi's prompted the search for a new meeting location, the Hiawatha Community Center provides a stable, welcoming home that positions Metro North Rotary for continued growth, service and community engagement for years to come.
Metro North Rotary welcomes visitors who are interested in learning more about Rotary, building meaningful community connections and making a difference through service. Guests are encouraged to join us at an upcoming meeting to experience the fellowship, networking opportunities and service that define our club.
